The crowd went berserk watching their chief minister wearing a garland of lemons and chilies. CM Ashok Gehlot held several rallies in Bhilwara, Gangapur, and Thanagaji of Alwar in support of the Congress candidates from these areas.
Raising the familiar bogey of the constitution in danger, he urged the voters to vote against the Modi government and alleged that the Modi government has been misusing CBI, ED, RBI, and other institutes. Gehlot also accused the BJP of distributing money to its candidates to fare well in the elections.
