The representatives of the late musician Prince have issued a statement where they have called out US President Donald Trump for using one of his songs, Purple Rain, at a campaign event. The Prince Estate released a letter from the campaign team where it assured that Prince’s music will not be used at his events.

“The Prince Estate will never give permission to President Donald Trump to use Prince’s songs,” their official Twitter account said in a statement. The song was played at Trump’s campaign event at Minneapolis.
Prince’s estate is among a long list of artists who have asked Trump to stop using their music at his events, including Neil Young, Pharrell Williams and the Rolling Stones. More recently, Rihanna demanded that the president stop playing her hit track “Don’t Stop the Music” at his “tragic rallies.”
Donald Trump has a fancy taste in music and nobody could accuse him of having a poor taste. Not too long, he made an entrance at one of his events at the White House with ‘Enter Sandman’ by Metallica playing in the background.
