Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in an address to media informed that six more cases have been identified on Tuesday and now the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached a mark of 12 in the state of Kerala.

Government has requested cinema halls to stop their operations for the time being. In his press conference, the CM also requested the people to refrain from attending all public functions, festivals and weddings where a large number of people gather. He also requested people to conduct rituals keeping them limited at home.
The chief minister suggested the devotees to avoid visiting the Sabarimala shrine which is opening for monthly poojas on Thursday.
Four more cases in Karnataka
The Health Minister of Karnataka B Sriramulu on Tuesday also informed the media that Four new positive cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the state.
The minister stated that the family members of the patients have been identified and isolated separately. The minister also urged the public to take precautionary measures and cooperate in preventing the spread of the infection.
Yesterday, a techie who had returned from the USA had tested positive. He had been kept in isolation at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases (RGICD). His wife, child and another co-worker had been quarantined too. However, it is not clear yet whether the three new cases are the same quarantined persons or other people.
