Amid the controversies over multiple competitive exams like NEET-UG and UGC-NET, the Union Education Ministry on 22 June constituted a High-Level Committee of Experts to improve examinations conducted by NTA
“We are committed to holding zero-error exams, and a high-level committee is being formed to improve NTA functioning," Education minster Dharmendra Pradhan said
Regarding NEET examination, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan assured that every aspect is being looked into, accountability will be fixed, and depending on the nature of the lapse, action will be taken.
The new guidelines also instructed coaching centers to take steps to improve student's mental health, citing intense competitiveness and academic pressure.
