An audio clip of Masood Azhar, the head of the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), has come out. In it, he claims he’s got a huge bunch of suicide attackers all set to hit anytime. Masood Azhar is a terrorist named by the UN, and he’s been accused for years of planning attacks on India from Pakistan. However, the exact date and authenticity of the audio message could not be independently verified.
In the recording, Azhar says more than a thousand suicide bombers are ready and begging him to let them sneak into India. He warns that if he spills the full number, it’ll blow up all over the world’s media tomorrow. His exact words go like this: “Ye suicide bombers ek nahi, do nahi, 100 nahi, ye 1000 bhi nahi, agar poori taadat bata doon, toh kal duniya ki media par hungama mach jayega…” These guys are super eager to carry out attacks and become martyrs for their cause, he adds.

Azhar‘s been spewing anti-India rants for a long time. He’s accused of being behind big attacks like the 2001 Parliament strike and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
This message drops months after Indian forces hit JeM spots in Pakistan, including their Bahawalpur base during Operation Sindoor. Those strikes took out some of Azhar’s family members and came as payback for the 22nd April Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people. Delhi Police have also tied Umar Un Nabi, a suspect in a Delhi blast killing 15 and injuring 20 others, to Pakistan’s Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Azhar hasn’t shown his face publicly since 2019, when his Bahawalpur hideout got blasted by mystery attackers; he survived that. He’s stayed mostly hidden ever since.
