Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath came down heavily on Maharashtra MLA and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi for praising Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb

"A sedition case should be filed against Abu Azmi. He has no right to stay in India. Aurangzeb who destroyed thousands of Hindu temples, tortured women, brutally tortured Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, was against the country, he looted our country", SS MP Naresh Mhaske said.

However, as Shamita Yadav aka Ranting Gola published a ‘clarification’ video over her rant against Abu Azmi, many raised questions about her conduct and questioned if she makes videos targeting politicians only for money.

Taking to X, Abu Azmi shared a video of his meeting with Mufti Salman Azhari and said, "Today, I had a special meeting with Mufti Salman Azhari and discussed the issues of Govandi. Namoos-e-Risalat is our mission, our demand is that an anti-terror law should be made against anyone who disrespects the evening of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and we will not rest until this law is made."

The Mankhurd Shivajinagar MLA resorted to fearmongering among Muslims against the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).

The participants in the rally including the 11 accused persons reportedly raised anti-India slogans and 'Sar Tan Se Juda' slogans. They also hailed Pakistan, Palestine, and Hamas during the rally and condemned India's support for Israel.

During the agitation, slogans such as 'Maratha-Muslim bhai bhai', 'Musalmano ko nyay do' and 'Musalmanon ko 5% arakshan do' were raised.

SP leader Abu Azmi claimed that Islam doesn’t allow anyone to chant ‘Vande Mataram’ and their don't bow before anyone except Allah, not even before their mother.
