Over 7.72 lakh Ayushman Bharat health cards have been issued in Delhi, including 2.9 lakh for senior citizens under the Vaya Vandana Scheme. Beneficiaries now receive an enhanced Rs10 lakh cashless treatment cover.
ABHA Card is a unique 14-digit digital health identity. Its primary function is to enable a person to store and access their medical records, such as prescriptions, lab reports, and hospital summaries, in a digitally secure format. While Delhi and West Bengal have not adopted Ayushman Bharat scheme, data shows people in other opposition states are among major beneficiaries of the scheme
