Love Jihad

A married woman in Rajkot, has filed a police complaint claiming she was trapped on social media, sexually exploited, and repeatedly pressured to convert into Islam.

Both before and during the AI-era, Muslim men have been portraying Hindu women in religious attire in sexually suggestive scenarios, however, since victims were Hindu women and perpetrators Muslim men, nobody thought of it as an issue big enough to highlighted as weaponisation of social media and online editing tools against India’s Hindu women, but a few alleged cases, and whole ‘Muslim women under attack bogey’ is ready.

The viral clip is from a podcast Sherwani hosted in February 2026. In this, Nivedita Menon and The Wire’s propagandist not only laugh off the concept of Love Jihad, but also dismiss concerns about a predatory pattern involving Muslim men targeting Hindu women due to religious hatred for Kafirs, as mere Hindu male insecurity.

The Muslim mob turned violent and vandalised the vehicles parked on the streets, including police vehicles.
