The victim's father stated that after searching his son's backpack, he found Islam-related literature and a skull cap. He added that he searched the boy's phone and found ganja and other drug-related chats.
Accused Saqib Saifi along with his family members was allegedly tormenting the victim after sexually harassing her and pressuring her to convert to Islam.
The VHP leader also pointed out that the anti-conversion law needs to be enacted in Tamil Nadu as well which is facing a wider threat of illegal Christian conversion drives.
