Google has been slapped with a lawsuit seeking $5 billion, accusing the search giant of privacy infringements by tracking internet activity of users using browser in the 'private or incognito' mode

The Government of India has launched the Aarogya Setu App to assist the fight against the Wuhan Coronavirus.

The protocol ensures that it will not share the Aarogya Setu data with any third party until it is extremely necessary to formulate or implement health responses.

Reportedly, the records include usernames, hashed passwords (SHA-256), date joined, last login date, email addresses, first and last names, account profile (staff member/a superuser), account status etc.

Aarogya Setu determines the location of the person and informs whether he is in proximity to a Coronavirus positive patient.

The data of more than 1.75 lakh symptomatic patients were collected and transferred to a private company named Sprinklr by Kerala govt.

The leaked user records comprised of unique Facebook IDs, email addresses, age, and even phone numbers.
