Indian Railways terminated signaling contact with Chinese firm after it completed only 20% in 4 years and didn't provide technical documents

Hindustan Times had published an article dated May 27, 2020, titled: "Migrants’ kid dies as father hunts for milk at railway station", claiming that a four-and-a-half-year-old son of migrants from Bihar based in Delhi died of hunger at the railway station on arrival by a ‘Shramik Special’ train.

Mamata Banerjee is also reportedly likely to demand the early release of funds to the tune of ₹50,000 crores for West Bengal.

India Railways operated around 201 Shramik Special trains till late Thursday and helped nearly 2 lakh stranded migrant workers, tourists and students to return to their home state.

Central govt has started 'shramik' special trains which are facilitating the return of migrant labourers back to their home states from the various states where they might be stranded due to the Coronavirus lockdown.

Only after much confusion, Rajasthan government has announced that it will now be bearing the expenses of migrant workers

Congress, which earlier today claimed to bear the costs of railway tickets of migrants, is in the government in Maharashtra and Rajasthan

Earlier today, the interim Congress president Sonia Gandhi had declared that the Congress party will bear the non-existent fares charged by central government from migrant workers.

And there is absolutely no justification for states asking the so called migrants to pay for tickets back “home.”

Railway Ministry will operate special trains for the movement of migrant workers, pilgrims, students etc.
