The US has often expressed its interest to overthrow the Maduro regime in Venezuela, and the Trump administration appears to be finally acting on that motive.

This came after Maduro called Musk his “archenemy” and challenged him for a cage fight. “Social media creates a virtual reality, and who controls the virtual reality? Our new archenemy, the famous Elon Musk. Do you want to fight? Let’s do it. Elon Musk, I’m ready. I’m not afraid of you, Elon Musk. Let’s fight, wherever you want,” Maduro said.

Before the United States placed oil sanctions on Venezuela in 2019, Reliance was the second-largest private buyer of Venezuelan crude oil, trailing only China's China National Petroleum Corporation.
