“No such action took place”: Delhi Police dismisses AAP’s claims that they raided Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s Delhi residence

Ahead of Delhi elections, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been making all sorts of absurd claims, including claiming that neighbouring Haryana is trying a genocide in Delhi by poisoning Delhi waters. Now they have claimed that Delhi Police raided Punjab CM, and senior AAP leader, Bhagwant Mann’s Delhi residence. However, Delhi Police has dismissed those claims and said that no such action took place.

On Thursday, January 30, AAP alleged that a team of Delhi Police arrived at Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s official residence in Delhi, Kapurthala House, to conduct a raid. However, the Delhi Police has dismissed the claims, asserting that no such action had taken place.

Notably, even current Delhi CM Atishi gave wind to the absurd claims by sharing them from her X account.

Meanwhile, Delhi Police clarified that no raid was conducted on Bhagwant Mann’s house. A Delhi Police official told the media that a team led by the Returning Officer (DM, New Delhi) had arrived at the Kapurthala House to investigate a complaint received via the C-Vigil portal.
