Occultist Kamruddin confesses to 8 murders across multiple states, reveals that he used ‘jinn’ fear to force women into physical relations

Every day, new and shocking facts are emerging in the Piragarhi triple death case in Delhi. The police investigation has revealed that Muslim Occultist Kamruddin, called ‘tantrik’ by the media, who claimed to remove evil spirits and perform magical rituals, has confessed to the murder of eight people in different states.

The crime came to light when three bodies were discovered in a car in the West Vihar East police station area. Kamruddin has confessed that apart from the Piragarhi triple death, he was also responsible for murders in Firozabad and Rajasthan.

He is currently in five days of police remand, and the Delhi Police have already contacted the Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan police to uncover his network.

‘Jinn rituals’ and exploitation

During the interrogation, it was revealed that Kamruddin used the fear of “jinn” to trap families in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.

He placed conditions before his clients that the Jinn would select a tall and beautiful woman from their family to shower her with wealth. He would then take the woman alone into a room, saying the jinn would establish physical contact invisibly. He also warned women not to carry mobile phones inside the room.

He frightened families by saying the jinn would become angry if the ritual was disturbed. When they didn’t get wealth, he blamed it on the jinn being upset and demanded more money to perform the ritual again. Police say he exploited many women in the name of these fake rituals.

Sources indicate that dozens of families in multiple states fell victim to his scheme. Police are now working to identify and contact such families.

Poison mixed in Laddoos

According to DCP Sachin Sharma, forensic tests confirmed that the laddoos consumed by Randhir, Shiv Naresh and Lakshmi in the Piragarhi case were mixed with sulphas (aluminium phosphide) and a heavy dose of sleeping pills.

Sulphas is a banned pesticide that can only be used with special permission. Police teams are now searching for a supplier in Firozabad who provided the poison to Kamruddin, and raids are being carried out at suspected locations.

Forensic examination of Lakshmi’s mobile phone also revealed disturbing material. Investigators found several pictures of girls and women sitting in ritual-like positions, with their hair open and papers containing personal details in their hands. Police believe these were part of the so-called rituals conducted by Kamruddin.

Claims of miracle healing and illegal wealth

Kamruddin also presented himself as a miracle hakim and a doctor who could perform surgeries without stitches. He charged around ₹7,000 from people seeking treatment, claiming he could cure serious illnesses through spiritual power.

Using money earned from these activities, he built properties in Firozabad, including plots of land and a grand marriage hall. Delhi Police are now focusing on attaching these benami properties to ensure that every rupee earned through crime is seized.

The investigation is ongoing, and more details about his interstate operations are expected to surface in the coming days.
