Adani Enterprises Director Pranav Adani has contributed Rs 15 crore towards adding 100 new cars to the Mumbai Police fleet, aimed at bolstering the force’s mobility and strengthening the city’s security infrastructure.
Adani announced the contribution on X on Monday, saying it was made in recognition of the Mumbai Police personnel who work round the clock to keep the city safe.
“We salute the brave men and women in khaki who work round the clock to keep Mumbai safe for all,” Adani said, adding that he was “privileged” to contribute towards the addition of 100 vehicles to the police fleet.

He said the contribution was a “humble” effort to support the personnel who tirelessly protect Mumbai, describing the city as one that “never sleeps.”
The Mumbai Police Foundation also acknowledged the contribution from the Adani Foundation, saying the support would help advance the welfare of police personnel and strengthen security infrastructure for Mumbai and its citizens.
According to the foundation, Pranav Adani visited the Mumbai Police Headquarters in connection with the contribution.
The Mumbai Police also thanked the Adani Foundation for its support, noting that the contribution would assist both police welfare initiatives and the city’s security infrastructure.
The addition of 100 vehicles is expected to improve the force’s operational mobility as it handles law-and-order, emergency response and security responsibilities across Mumbai, one of India’s most populous metropolitan centres.
The contribution is part of the Adani Foundation’s broader support for public welfare and civic initiatives, with the latest assistance specifically directed towards expanding the Mumbai Police’s vehicle fleet.
