Some talk about foreign policy to look mature, do not care about damage to nation: PM Modi on Rahul Gandhi speech

On Tuesday, February 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke in Lok Sabha during the motion of thanks on the President Droupadi Murmu’s address. During his speech, PM Modi came down heavily on the Congress scion Rahul Gandhi.

PM Modi said, “Some believe they won’t seem mature unless they speak on foreign policy, even at the cost of damaging the desk. I suggest those genuinely interested in foreign policy read the book JFK’s Forgotten Crisis. It details discussions between India’s Nehru and US President JFK, revealing how foreign policy was handled during challenging times and the games played in its name.”

Notably, this comment from PM Modi comes a day after Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Parliament where he spent most of his time praising China.

Further, reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s comment that Artificial Intelligence (AI) should be used for caste census, PM Modi said, “For me, there is not single AI, there is double AI, which is the double strength of India. An AI-Artificial Intelligence and the second AI is – Aspirational India.”
