Civil aviation minister K Ram Mohan Naidu Has said that there will be a 50% cut in airfare for passengers travelling to the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. NDTV reported that the new airfare will come into effect from February 1.
The airfares to Prayagraj had seen a massive spike during the first few days of the historic Mahakumbh. The minister, meanwhile, also assured the airlines companies that government will ensure that they don’t suffer any losses due to this rate cut.
Mahakumbh, which takes place once in 144 years, started on January 13, and will conclude on February 26. Nearly 30 Crores have already taken a holy dip at the holy site, and more and more people are coming every day.
