‘Send your wife to me if you want a child’: Hindu man who worked at TCS Nashik narrates how Muslim colleagues harassed him and forced him to convert to Islam

After several female employees narrated their ordeal in the TCS Nashik sexual exploitation and conversion case, the sole male victim of the case has revealed how he was harassed and his Muslim colleagues.

According to India Today, the male employee at the Nashik branch of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was forced to wear a skull cap, recite Kalma and offer namaz by the accused. He said that the accused made offensive remarks about his personal life and mocked him for not having a child after years of marriage. The victim said that one of the accused made extremely offensive remarks about his wife and suggested that he should send his wife to him if he wanted to have a child. Outraged by the remarks, the victim protested, which led to a confrontation in the office. The victim said that Tausif threw a table fan at him and threatened to kill him.

The victim further informed that when his father suffered a paralytic attack, the accused told him that his father would recover if he converted to Islam. He also said that the accused, including Tausif, Danish, Shah Rukh, and Raza Memon, made inappropriate remarks about female employees at the office and targeted them.

Speaking to India Today, the male employee said that he joined the company in 2022, and the harassment began shortly after. He said that his team leader, Tausif Attar and colleague, Danish Sheikh, targeted him. Tausif allegedly misused his position of authority to pressure the victim. He burdened him with extra work, including the work assigned to others.

The victim, a follower of Ramdas Swami, is reportedly a devout Hindu and wears a Rudraksha mala. He said that the accused targeted him for his religious identity. They openly and frequently mocked his Hindu beliefs and made derogatory remarks about Hindu deities, religious figures and revered personalities from Maharashtra.

According to the victim, his harassment by the accused was not limited to offensive remarks; they forced him to eat non-vegetarian food despite knowing that he was a vegetarian. He said that the accused used to take him to restaurants after work and pressure him into eating non-vegetarian food. When he refused, he was mocked.

Narrating an incident, the victim said that in 2023, on the occasion of Eid, Tausif took him to his home, where he made him wear a skull cap, forced him to offer namaz and clicked photographs with him. He later shared the pictures on the company’s official group to humiliate him.

When the victim started resisting the harassment by the accused, they filed false complaints against him with the head office to get him fired. According to the victim, the accused continued to harass him from 2022 till March 23, 2026.

Nine FIRs have been filed by the police in connection with the case, and eight employees of the company, including seven men and one female operations manager, have been arrested. One female employee, who is accused in the case, remains absconding. According to the police, the male accused in the case functioned like an “organised gang” to target the female employee.
