K Annamalai on Sunday sought External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's intervention in facilitating the transfer of the mortal remains of a person from Tirunelveli who died in an accident in Saudi Arabia.
"You [DMK government] think that you can suppress the voice of democracy by filing false cases. As a common man, I give you 24 hours, to touch me if possible," Annamalai said in a tweet.
The victim stated that he had filed a complaint with the Chennai police and the collector about the land-grabbing incident, but when no action was taken, he resorted to the extreme measure
Soldier Prabhakaran and his brother Prabhu had a minor argument with DMK councilor Chinnaswamy. The DMK councilor and his accomplices beat the soldier to death.
"If you (Governor) do not read out the speech given by the Tamil Nadu government, then go to Kashmir, and we will send terrorists so that they'll gun you down," Krishnamoorthy said.
"There is an old saying in villages, 'don't count the leaves (banana leaves used as plates for feast), if you are asked to pick it'...Governor's job is similar to picking up leaves," the DMK leader said.
