Students are holding massive protests in Delhi's Old Rajender Nagar area over the deaths of the three UPSC aspirants in a flooded basement of Rau's IAS Study Circle.

Reacting to the incident, Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva said, "There should be an inquiry into the corruption of Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi and their government. Delhi Municipal Corporation's corruption should be inquired. There should be an inquiry as to why the drainage was not cleaned. Will they order an inquiry into this?"
According to the Legislator of Tumin–Lingee Assembly constituency, Sikkim, Ugyen Tshering Gyatso Bhutia, "The South Lhonak lake situated in North West Sikkim experienced an outburst in the early hours of Wednesday morning due to incessant monsoon rainfall. Areas near River Teesta have been put on high alert."
