Rs 177 crores were recovered from Jain's Anandnagar house in Kanpur, and another 107 crores were seized from his house at Kannauj, reported the Times of India.
The raids were conducted at the residences of traders, government contractors and builders associated with the contractors. The operation was started on December 22 and lasted for five days.
Besides provisionally attaching four properties belonging to Ajit Pawar IT dept has also provisionally attached 27 pieces of land believed to be him and his kin.
