At the very onset of the propaganda piece titled “A Hindu Pakistan?”, Guha invokes India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, to contend that contrary to the initial envisioning of India as an inclusive nation, unlike Pakistan, India under the Modi government is “coming ever closer to Pakistan with regard to the merging of faith and State.”
Ramchandra Guha said, "If we want that the opposition should unite, then you are putting it at a loss by projecting Rahul Gandhi as an alternative to Modi."
The letter also contained the signature of fugitive hate preacher Zakir Naik (listed as an academic from Islamic Research Foundation) along with Guha and Sanjay Raut
When the plan was unveiled on Friday evening, most people, including some of the people who had endorsed the action plan which even 14-year-olds could've written, were appalled.
