“Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards”: Trump issues expletive-ridden ultimatum to Iran, says power plants and bridges will be hit on Tuesday

President Donald J. Trump has escalated his rhetoric against Iran once again, posting a warning on Truth Social that Tuesday will mark a decisive day of potential U.S. military action targeting Iranian power plants and infrastructure if Tehran does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

In the expletive-ridden post, Trump wrote: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

The message comes amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, where the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments, has remained largely disrupted. Trump has repeatedly linked the reopening of the waterway to avoiding strikes on Iran’s energy facilities.

This is the latest in a series of deadlines and extensions issued to Iran by the president. Earlier, Trump had referenced a 10-day window for Iran to “MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT,” followed by a 48-hour warning yesterday that “all Hell will reign down” if the strait is not opened. He had issued the deadline of 6th April, which has been reiterated in today’s post. Deadlines have shifted multiple times in recent weeks, including postponements citing purported talks, though Iran has publicly denied direct negotiations and rejected the demands.

The Strait of Hormuz is vital for transporting roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply. Disruptions have contributed to volatility in energy markets, with ripple effects on global prices. U.S. officials have highlighted the need to restore navigation, while Iran has warned of retaliation against regional infrastructure if its facilities are targeted.
