On Monday (29th June), five people were shot dead in the town of Stade, located west of Germany’s Hamburg. The local police detained two suspects, including the shooter.

Shots were fired near a youth facility, and they are currently conducting a large-scale operation outside the town centre.

“We ask you to leave the area and give it a wide berth for your own safety,” the German police said.

The motive behind the attack remains under investigation, the police said.

The identities of the attackers have also not been revealed by the investigators yet.
