Haryana and Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress units also suspend office-bearers
The action was not limited to Madhya Pradesh. The Haryana Youth Congress also suspended 10 office-bearers for not attending the 1st November rally. The list includes state vice-president Navdeep Dalal, eight state general secretaries and Rohtak district president Sushil Hooda.

The suspension order, issued on Monday, 2nd November, described their absence as “organisational indiscipline” and said they would remain suspended until further notice. It was signed by state in-charge Satywan Gahlot, co-in-charges Meemansha Arya and Priyanka Chandeliya, state president Nishit Kataria and working president Soumil Sandhu.

Congress suspends 83 office-bearers despite claiming rally was successful
Notably, the Congress had projected the 1st November rally as a major show of Opposition strength and claimed that it had attracted a large number of supporters. However, the party’s youth wing has now suspended at least 83 office-bearers across Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh for failing to attend the same event.
The action has raised questions about the party’s claims of a successful mobilisation. While Congress leaders presented the rally as a significant gathering, the youth wing’s suspension orders show that dozens of its own office-bearers did not turn up.
