Ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections in February, poster war is heating up in the National Capital. Interestingly, ruling Aam Aadmi Party, in its latest poster, has called Congress scion Rahul Gandhi as a corrupt leader. Notably, AAP and Congress are alliance partners in the I.N.D.I. Alliance formed to take on Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) at national level.
This is the first time when Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was targeted by Aam Aadmi Party directly. The poster has the tagline “Kejriwal’s honesty will outweigh all the dishonest people”, and it features photos of usual Kejriwal targets like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Delhi BJP leaders. However, Rahul Gandhi has also been included in the poster.

Notably, AAP and Congress fought the recent Lok Sabha elections as alliance partners, but when it came to Delhi Assembly Elections, AAP ditched Congress since they are in a stronger position in the city-state. Now, the Arvind Kejriwal-led Party is taking direct shots at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi signaling there is not much bonhomie between the two alliance partners.
