Attack on the President of Hindu Sena in Ajmer, two assailants fired bullets at his car

Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta, the petitioner in the disputed Dargah case in Ajmer, narrowly escaped when he was fired upon on Saturday (25th January, 2025) morning. According to the police, Vishnu Gupta was returning to Delhi, when two bike-borne assailants opened fire on his car near Ladpura culvert. After the firing, the assailants fled from the spot.

According to reports, after getting information about the incident, top officials including Ajmer Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana reached the spot. Investigation has been started and the FSL team has been called. Vishnu Gupta and his driver did not suffer any injuries in this incident. According to the police, Gupta’s statements are being recorded and evidence is being collected from the spot.

Vishnu Gupta said that this attack has been done to scare him, but he is not going to be scared. Vishnu Gupta has filed an application in the court that Ajmer Dargah was a Shiva temple. Since then, Gupta had received threats many times, he had also complained about those threats. At present, the police is investigating the matter in depth.
