In Ayodhya, UP, 3 persons have been arrested for the murder of a Dalit woman whose mutilated body was found on the night of 1 February. The accused have been identified as Digvijay Singh, Hariram Kori and Vijay Sahu. The accused are from the same village.
Ayodhya SSP Rajkaran Nayyar has informed in a press conference that the accused had committed the crime elsewhere and brought the body to discard at the scene to mislead the investigation. The police had constituted 4 different teams to carry out the investigations.
