Ayodhya Ram Mandir chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das hospitalised due to brain haemorrhage

Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, has suffered a brain haemorrhage. He has been referred to Lucknow PGI for further treatment. He was reportedly taken to Shri Ram Hospital in Ayodhya due to high blood pressure at around 7 pm from where he was referred to a higher center. He was also brought to the city’s private hospital, City Neuro Care Hospital.

After the CT scan, blood clotting in about 17 places was discovered places and there was severe brain hemorrhage.

Doctor Arun Kumar Singh revealed the chief priest of the Ram Mandir reached the hospital in a critical condition after which he been referred to Lucknow follwoing initial treatment. On the other hand, the saints of Ayodhya have been praying for him. Acharya Satyendra Das’s health had previously deteriorated due to old age. He was continuously undergoing treatment for BP and sugar.

Acharya Satyendra Das has been serving Ram Lalla in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex for the last 34 years. He was appointed as the chief priest after the complex was acquired by the current government. After the construction of a grand temple, he was performing his duites there.
