On Saturday (15th November), the Bihar unit of the BJP suspended RK Singh from the party. The development comes a day after BJP-led NDA swept the Vidhan Sabha elections in the State.
According to a letter issued by BJP, the former Union Minister was involved in anti-party activities. As such, he was sacked from the party.
It stated that Singh was involved in ‘continued cross-party rhetoric’ and that action was taken to maintain discipline within the BJP. RK Singh has one week’s time to clarify his position in the matter and submit his reply.
