The war of words between I.N.D.I. Alliance partners Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been heating up ahead of the Delhi Assembly Elections to be held on February 5. Now Rahul Gandhi, the LoP in Parliament and a senior Congress leader, has attacked AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia.
During a rally in Patparganj,Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said, “Arvind Kejriwal said he would do different politics, came in a small car, but lived in Sheesh Mahal.”
Notably, Arvind Kejriwal has been under fire over “Sheesh Mahal”, the official Delhi CM residence he spent Crores on from public money.
Rahul Gandhi also attacked Kejriwal for going missing when the poor of Delhi needed him. “AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was never seen when the poor needed him and when Delhi faced violence,” Rahul Gandhi said.
Gandhi also attacked sitting Patparganj MLA Manish Sisodia and said Sisodia has run away from the seat this time following the infamous Delhi Liquor Scam. “Patparganj MLA Manish Sisodia was the architect of the liquor scam with Arvind Kejriwal that is why Sisodia ran away from the seat,” he claimed.
