The arrest of Telugu actor Allu Arjun, whose film ‘Pushpa 2’ is set to become an all-time blockbuster, has become a political issue in Telangana with the opposition parties criticising the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government for the arrest. Meanwhile, Congress party has defended the action against Allu Arjun in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
The Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud said that law was taking its course in the case and that his party would not have issues with any film hero.Goud further said that his party only has love for any cinema hero but no ill will.
Notably, Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday, December 13, in connection with the death of a woman in a stampede during the premiere of his blockbuster “Pushpa 2: The Rule”.
