Congress leader Rahul Gandhi supports Indian students being taught a book that refers to the Hindu God Brahma as a “bet*ch*d”

On 30th September (Wednesday), the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, took to social media to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government. He wrote that they were undermining social justice and suppressing independent thought among the students of the country. The statement transpired after action on Hinduphobic literature in higher education.

Gandhi alleged that PM Modi “is against social justice and equality. His entire system hates education because they don’t want students to think or ask questions.”

He added that “essential books” like Dr B. R. Ambedkar’s “Annihilation of Caste” and Jyotirao Phule’s “Gulagiri” were charged with introducing “poison” into young people’s minds in an anonymous tweet.

The former Congress chief then complained, “The very next day, on Sunday, at the direction of the PMO (Prime Minister’s Office), the Ministry of Education asked all central universities for information on their syllabi, and inquired how many students are enrolled in these courses.”

He accused PM Modi of remaining silent on matters such as youth security, unemployment, and paper leaks while acting at the first sign from online trolls.

The official communication was issued by the Department of Higher Education in the name of Raj Kamal Kumar, an Assistant Section Officer serving in its Central Universities-I desk under the Ministry of Education, on 27th September.

It read, “I am directed to refer to a communication received from the Prime Minister’s Office regarding a recent tweet posted on the social media platform X (earlier Twitter). All the Central Universities are requested to furnish comments on the above. Further, enrollment in the courses mentioned in the tweet may also be apprised to the Ministry. This may be treated as ‘urgent,’ and the required comments/information may be furnished to the Ministry at the earliest.”

The action has reportedly been taken after a series of tweets were posted by “The Story Teller” shedding light on the sensitive matter. From patriarchy to Caste Annihilation to Debrahmanising the history to Curse of Manu, we are feeding young minds with a poison which our leftist cabal uses as an apprenticeship for grooming their future rank and file,” the account conveyed.

It is important to highlight that Phule’s Gulamgiri (slavery) contains highly objectionable references to Hindu scriptures and deities in the name of “deconstructing” the religion. This includes Lord Brahma, who is not only subjected to deeply derogatory language but is also falsely accused of having sexual intercourse with his consort, Goddess Saraswati, who is wrongfully described as his daughter.

The book similarly contains numerous provocative and misleading assertions directed against Hinduism.
