The action in Dwarka is in line with Gujarat’s intolerance towards illegal encroachment and initiating bulldozer action to ensure illegal structures on encroached lands are removed. Last year saw a significant anti-encroachment drive in various parts of the state, most notably in Somnath, which saw several illegally built mazars and mosques razed.
