Ahead of the upcoming Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections, former BJP leader Nighat Abbas joined the Congress party on Tuesday (28th January).
This is despite the fact that she has mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on several occasions, even going to the extent of calling his political foot pilgrimage ‘Bharat Todo yatra.’
In one instance, Abbas claimed that Rahul Gandhi’s one and only true love is far-left Hunaarian-American billionaire George Soros.
The former BJP leader had repeatedly mocked the intellect of Rahul Gandhi and hailed his ‘comedy.’ Nighat Abbas now has a change of heart and has joined hands with the party that she derided on a daily basis.
