In Eddumailaram village of Sangareddy district of Telangana, a case of extreme brutality against dogs has come to light. 21 dogs were killed after throwing them off a bridge. Their legs and mouths were tied before throwing them to their deaths. 11 others were left injured in the incident.
Indrakaran Police has registered a complaint in this regard after the complaint was filed by Citizens for Animals organisation. The incident came to light on January 4 when The animal welfare organisation received a tip off about the incident.
A volunteer for the organisation told that the surviving dogs were found among the decomposing bodies of their companions. The state of the dead bodies indicated that the dogs were lying there for quite some time.
