In visuals shared by Suvendu Adhikari, men wearing skull caps could be seen throwing blows at the windshield of the vehicle. The victims were rushed to the Kanthi Sub Divisional Hospital.
“You can imagine the horror that the passengers of the car went through when they were attacked by the mob. Their vehicle was ransacked and they were brutally beaten up,” he tweeted.
Adhikari has requested the West Bengal police to take action against the accused men. He stated that the video shared by him was sufficient to identify the perpetrators.
“The People of WB should take into consideration the continuous constriction of liberties and rights due to the appeasement politics of the current State Govt. These incidents are happening regularly and the frequency is increasing by the day,” the BJP leader concluded.
