On Sunday, December 15, wife of Atul Subhash, the AI engineer who committed suicide, Nikita Singhania was arrested from Gurugram. In a 24-page suicide note and in a now viral video, Atul had accused Nikita and her family of harassment and extortion. Atul said that Nikita was asking him to pay Rs 2 to 4 lakh for maintenance.
Nikita’s mother and brother were arrested earlier. The Bengaluru Police arrested Nikita from Gurugram in Haryana, while her mother and brother were taken into custody from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.
Atul Subhash, in a 24-page suicide note, said that Nikita Singhania was asking him to pay Rs 2 to 4 lakh for maintenance and was using their four-year-old son to demand the money.
