On Friday (31st January), politician Pappu Yadav stirred the hornet’s nest after he insulted Adivasi President Droupadi Murmu while speaking to the media.
President Murmu addressed the joint session of the Parliament ahead of the Budget session. Following that, ‘independent MP’ Pappu Yadav labelled her a ‘stamp’ who has been appointed to ‘read love letters.’
“She is like a stamp. She has to read love letters given to her,” he was heard saying.
