‘Rahul Gandhi mafi mango’: BJP leaders stage protest after Gandhi scion makes Nagaland MP Phangnon Konyak uncomfortable

On Friday (20th December), BJP leaders staged a protest outside the Parliament against Rahul Gandhi after a fellow Parliamentarian accused him of making her uncomfortable.

In a video shared by BJP MP (Valsad constituency) Dhaval Patel, party leaders were seen demonstrating next to the statue of Indian freedom fighter Bisra Munda.

Adivasi beti ka apman, nahin sahega Hindustan (Hindustan will not tolerate insult to the dignity of its tribal daughter),” BJP leader said in unison. They also demanded an unconditional apology from Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi mafi mango,” they added. The BJP leaders were seen waving placards and seeking justice for party MP Phangnon Konyak.

The Parliamentarian from Nagaland had accused the Gandhi scion of making her uncomfortable by standing too close to her.

“The Leader of the Opposition, Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji along with other party members came in front of me despite there being a passage created for them…He misbehaved with me in a loud voice and his physical proximity to me was so close that I, being a lady member, felt extremely uncomfortable,” she said in a letter to the Rajya Sabha Chairman.
