In a tragic incident in Jhalawar in Rajasthan, 4 school children died and at least 8 others got seriously injured after the roof of a school building collapsed. The incident took place in Piplodi Primary School in Jhalawar.
The roof of the upper primary school collapsed in Piplod village, under Dangipura police station limits in Jhalawar district, on Friday morning, July 25. The students were gathering for morning prayers when the tragedy occurred.
Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar, commenting on the incident, said, “A very unfortunate incident has taken place in Piplod village. I have instructed the district collector and education officials to ensure proper medical care for the injured. A detailed inquiry will be conducted to determine the cause of the collapse.”
