Social media personality Faizan Ansari has claimed that actress and influencer Uorfi Javed was allegedly paid ₹1 lakh to support the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), an allegation that Javed has categorically denied in a video posted on Instagram.
Responding to the claims, Uorfi Javed lashed out at Ansari, calling him “media-hungry” and questioning why such allegations were being amplified despite, according to her, his lack of credibility.
“The man who is making this claim, Faizan Ansari, is such a big idiot. This is the same person who had said that Urfi is transgender. And this is the same person who has spread so many fake things against me by calling the media. He is a very media-hungry, stupid person,” Javed said.
Rejecting the allegation that she accepted ₹1 lakh to promote CJP, Javed mocked the amount mentioned.
“And ₹1 lakh? You idiot, go and find out how much I charge for one reel. Would I post a reel for one lakh? And for no reason? Oh my God! There are such stupid people,” she said.
Javed also criticised Hindustan Times for publishing a report based on Ansari’s allegations.
“I am very upset with Hindustan Times. Why are you printing such weird articles based on a guy who has no credibility? Why are you doing it?” she asked.
What did Faizan Ansari claim?
Earlier, Faizan Ansari alleged that CJP was running a “paid campaign” by paying celebrities to endorse the party.
According to Ansari, “This is a paid campaign where he is paying celebrities. He called Uorfi Javed by paying her ₹1 lakh, he called Poonam Pandey by paying her ₹20,000. All these updates are coming to me from Bombay.”
Ansari further claimed that he had been attacked twice while opposing the party’s activities during its programmes in Pune and Aurangabad.
He also accused CJP of supporting Umar Khalid and declared that he would continue fighting against the party.
“India can never be broken into pieces. Abhijeet Dipke, you will be broken into pieces; your CJP party will be broken into pieces. Faizan Ansari will fight this battle till his last breath,” he said.
At present, Ansari has not publicly produced evidence to substantiate his allegation that Uorfi Javed or Poonam Pandey were paid to support CJP. Meanwhile, Javed has unequivocally rejected the claims, describing them as baseless and ridiculing the suggestion that she would endorse anyone for the amount alleged.
