West Bengal: Police arrest wife of self-proclaimed ‘Pushpa’ of Falta, Jahangir Khan, accused Sarina Bibi had led a Muslim mob to attack cops and central forces

In a major development on Saturday (20th June) morning, the West Bengal police arrested the wife of Trinamool Congress goon Jahangir Khan for leading a Muslim mob that attacked the police and the central forces.

According to reports, the accused was identified as 37-year-old Sarina Bibi. The police had arrested 27 people so far for gheraoing and attacking the station.

Jahangir Khan, the self-declared ‘Pushpa’ of Falta, had been in custody since 8th June. Sarina Bibi led a mob of local Muslims to free him but was later chased away by the cops and central forces.

It must be mentioned that the Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari himself ordered the filing of a case against the wife of Jahangir Khan for mob violence and anti-state activities.

Jahangir Khan had established his reign of terror in Falta under the supervision of Mamata Banerjee’s Bhaipo Abhishek Banerjee.
