The Indian MEA has stated that India will allow the export of hydroxychloroquine and paracetamol to some countries which are 'badly affected' with the coronavirus crisis. The MEA will decide on a case-to-case basis after domestic demands are met.
US President Donald Trump on Saturday said that he has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to supply hydroxychloroquine tablets that can be used to treat COVID-19 patients.
Recently, the National Task Force COVID-19 constituted by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) had recommended the use of hydroxy-chloroquine for high-risk cases, as a preventive measure against COVID-19.
"Both the president and vice president had almost no interactions with the individual who tested positive and do not require being tested at this time", said Stephanie Grisham.
