The Delhi HC stated that the observations of the trial court would not have an impact on any further police investigations or the trial of any accused in the matter.

Imam wants remarks to be expunged where he has been called the 'main conspirator' and where the court said that Khalid was in constant touch with other co-accused, including Sharjeel Imam, who arguably is at the head of the conspiracy.
A Delhi court on Thursday adjourned the bail decision on a plea by Sharjeel Imam in the sedition case against him. The next hearing of the case will be on July 20.
