Punjab: Terror outfits Babbar Khalsa and PSA claim responsibility for blast near police station

In a major development on Friday (2nd January), terror outfits Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and Punjab Sovereignty Alliance (PSA) claimed responsibility for the blast that took place near the Nalagarh police station in Solan.

The terror outfits declared that the IED blast was planned to avenge the alleged dumping of synthetic drugs, manufactured in Himachal Pradesh, into Punjab.

BKI claimed, “Our youth are dying after consuming the synthetic drugs. If the administration still does not wake up or no action is taken, then next time IEDs will be planted in the vehicles and headquarters of the police administration, and a response will be given that will be beyond their comprehension.”

“Our fight is not against any innocent person, it is against this dirty system,” the terror outfit stated.

For the unversed, the IED blast occurred on Thursday (1st January) morning near the Nalagarh police station. The intensity of the blast was such that it left a 2-feet deep crater in the ground and shattered the window panes of the nearby buildings. Following the incident, the police deployed a large contingent of personnel in the area.

In a statement, SP Vinod Kumar Dhiman said, “We have come to know that BKI and PSA have claimed responsibility for the blast. A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) visited the blast site today.”

He emphasised, “The forensic experts also inspected the spot. We are in constant touch with the Punjab Police in connection with this case.”
