Indian fashion designer Masaba Gupta has turned off the comment section of her Instagram account after being exposed by actress Kangana Ranaut for displaying anti-Hindu bigotry.
A casual glance at her Instagram profile (username: masabagupta) reveals that comments have been switched off for her last three Instagram posts.
While the designer did not turn off the comment section on her 4th post on Instagram, it greeted users with the following message: “Comments on this post have been limited.”

It is believed that Masaba Gupta switched off the comments and reduced audience interaction after receiving backlash over her ‘Hinduphobia.’
On Saturday (17th January), Kangana Ranaut revealed how the designer refused to give her a saree for Ram Janmabhoomi darshan.
“I wanted to go for Ram Janmabhoomi darshan. I requested the same stylist (Masaba) who was styling me for Tejas events to help me with the darshan trip as well. Masaba sent the clothes to the stylist for my promotions, but when she was told it’s for Ram Janmbhoomi, she told the stylist not to use her clothes,” the actress informed.
Designers get very excited whenever their brands get seen on celebrities, have you seen Masaba or her brand handles use these images ? These images were all over the Internet. Can you explain why won’t she use these images or why won’t the stylist tag her?

Those days Tejas was…
“The stylist is a very kind and genuine woman. She was so embarrassed that she discreetly told me not to tag Masaba or her brand and mentioned that she had already paid for the sari from her own pocket, so not to feel bad about it,” she added.
“But by the time I got to know about all this, it was too late. I was ready and was on my way to Ram Janmbhoomi, but it was too much to process. The hate, the bitterness, the prejudice, ewwww, how ugly !! Still makes me sick to my stomach !!” Kangana Ranaut emphasised.
Masaba Gupta is yet to respond to the allegations of Hinduphobia. In the meantime, she has turned off her comment section to avoid facing the questions of the public
