Bihar: Influencer Mohammad Tajuddin makes derogatory video targeting Hindus, claims ‘Aurangzeb destroyed temples because Brahmins raped women inside’, dares police to arrest him

A video circulating on social media has sparked controversy after Mohammad Tajuddin, a resident of Keshopur in Bihar, made claims that “Aurangzeb destroyed temples because Brahmins raped women inside temples.” The statements, widely shared online, have drawn sharp reactions for spreading false and inflammatory historical claims.

In the video, Tajuddin says that history has been hidden from people and claims he is revealing the “truth.” He refers to events following the Jat rebellion in Mathura, stating that Abdul Nabi was killed in 1669 and that Mughal ruler Aurangzeb attacked Mathura in 1670.

He claims that during this period, the Keshavdev temple was demolished after an incident involving a woman who had gone to pray at a temple and did not return home.

Tajuddin narrates that the woman’s husband approached Aurangzeb’s court, after which the emperor ordered his officials to search for her. He claims the woman was later found dead behind the temple and blames Brahmin priests for the crime.

He goes on to say that Aurangzeb ordered the execution of a priest and that this incident led to temple demolitions. He repeatedly urges viewers to read books on the Mughal Empire, saying he has shown book references on screen.

The video also includes claims about the Gyanvapi Mosque, where Tajuddin says Aurangzeb ordered its demolition to prevent future conflict between Hindus and Muslims because a temple and mosque stood close to each other. He presents this as a historical fact and says this marked the beginning of long-term religious hostility.

Towards the end of the video, Tajuddin directly addresses the police in Bihar. He says he is not afraid of arrest or jail and claims governments change over time.

He states that he will contest elections in the future and become an MLA or MP. He also asks the local police station not to visit or disturb his family, saying officers should contact him directly if they have any issues.

He further claims he has not committed any crime or anti-national act and refers to constitutional rights, mentioning Article 20. He says people cannot be targeted based on caste or religion and adds that he is ready to spend time in jail if required.

The video continues to circulate widely on social media, with many calling out the claims as fake and misleading. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
