Bareilly Horror: Muslim friends drug, rape a Hindu student in Class 10; FIR filed against 5, including parents

A Hindu student in the 10th grade was trapped by her Muslim friends and was subjected to rape by their brother Mohammad Anas in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. They recorded the assault and threatened to disseminate it on social media if she complained about the shocking abuse. She subsequently lodged a complaint at the police station against her two minor classmates, their brother and their parents on 15th February (Sunday).

A day earlier an annual function took place at the victim’s school. The two underage girls tried to take her to their residence but she declined. However, they administered drugs to her, transported her to their house in Paiga hamlet and then delivered her to Anas in a locked room who proceeded to violate her while she was incapacitated. The girls and their parents were outside the room during the heinous act. Afterwards, Anas fled from there.

The teenager’s father is employed in Uttarakhand and she stays in the village with her mother. He began searching for her when she didn’t arrive home. The Muslim family learned about this, abandoned her unconscious outside the village and escaped. She regained consciousness later and shared her experience with her family.

Afterwards, a First Information Report (FIR) was submitted at the Nawabganj police station against 5 individuals, including the main perpetrator, under various sections about rape, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, conspiracy, intimidation, and the Information Technology (IT) Act. The matter is currently under investigation.
