In the Sikrawa village of Haryana’s communally sensitive Nuh, an FIR has been registered against 12 people for allegedly attacking a Meghalaya Police team. The accused persons were trying to free an ATM robber named Razul Khan (some reports say Rahul Khan) from police custody. The incident unfolded on 10th March.
Visuals of the incident show a visibly Muslim mob intercepting the police convoy and attempting to free him. The situation took a dangerous turn when the mob surrounded the police vehicle and began vandalising it. The police resorted to firing blank shots to disperse the mob after the police team came under attack.

When police arrested him, a mob gathered on the road, pelted stones at police vehicle, and attempted to free the accused.

Reports say that a youth identified as Tariq Khan sustained a bullet injury to his leg.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (Nuh) Ayush Yadav, the incident occurred when a Meghalaya police team came to Nuh’s Wajidpur village to arrest him. The police said that Razul Khan is named as an accused in multiple robbery cases in Dwarka, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh, and is also wanted by Meghalaya Police’s Special Cell.
The mob attack transpired near Sikrawa village, close to HR-93 Donga Hotel in the jurisdiction of the Pinangwa police station, when Razul Khan asked the police to stop the vehicle.
